I am excited to give you a preview of the new Wessex Cimbasso which will be available initially in BBb and later in CC.
I have just play-tested the prototype and can unreservedly say it is the best playing and sounding Cimbasso I have ever blown. It is surprisingly free blowing with an open low register and has that distinct Cimbasso bite to its sound combined with a rich underlying tone. I will try to make a video to demonstrate its sound later.
The BBb version of this new Cimbasso (model CB100) will be exhibited for the first time at ITEC in Arizona from May 31st to June 3rd.
