An update on order times and shipping

Here at Wessex Tubas, we’re always improving and updating our services and ways of working in order to provide you, our loyal customers, with the very best brass instruments and accessories on the market, as quickly and efficiently as possible.

As such, we wanted to provide you with an update on both our order times and shipping options, to ensure you have all the information you need to feel confident about your next purchase.

What happens when you place your order?

If your item(s) is in stock at the Wessex warehouse, we will carry out final quality checks and prepare instrument to endeavour to usually ship within 2 working days of receiving order.

How quickly can you expect your order(s) to arrive?

Our preferred courier is DHL and shipping usually takes between 3 & 5 working days to the US and Europe. You will receive tracking email on shipping, so can see when it is expected to arrive.

It is worth noting, that if your instrument isn’t in stock, this timeframe will be longer; in this event, we’ll endeavour to contact you with an estimated delivery time if this was not clear on website when you ordered.

Free shipping vs express shipping

Our standard shipping - or free shipping - usually takes between 3 & 5 working days to reach the US and Europe by DHL, sent from our UK warehouse.

However, if you opt for express shipping, we will ship your item(s) using the fastest available service, as long as your item(s) is in stock and after we’ve carried out the final quality checks.

As a result, if you do choose express shipping, your item(s) may arrive faster than the standard 3 - 5 working days, depending on route and available services.

Additional charges

If your order is being shipped to the UK, the EU or the USA, there will be no additional charges. What you pay at check-out is the total price of the order with any customs, or duties paid. However if we are shipping elsewhere in the world import duties will usually have to be paid to receive the item. You need to check what they will be for your country.
