You may already know that the Wessex Tubas warehouse - from where all of our instruments and accessories are shipped to customers across the world - is based in the UK and, since the UK left the EU on 31st December, we’ve therefore had to make some changes to our online store, which will effect the way prices are displayed for visitors based in Europe.

So, here, we’ll go through exactly what to expect when shopping with us if you’re based in Europe.

Taxes and duties for EU customers

When viewing any of our products for sale online, the price displayed shows the product price without taxes and duties.

Upon reaching the checkout, you will then be given the option to include taxes and duties when placing your order or not to include taxes and duties at this stage.

If you choose not to include taxes and duties when placing your order, you will need to pay them once your order has arrived in your country, and will be contacted by our courier for payment of taxes and duties owed before your order is delivered to you.

If you select to include taxes and duties, the price you pay at check-out will be the total price to pay, and there will be no further cost to you to receive your order. We have implemented this option to minimise any effect of Brexit on our EU customers.

Our commitment to our European customers

Wessex Tubas was created by musicians, for musicians all over the world and this has not and will not change - we will continue to design, create and deliver high quality, affordable instruments for you, wherever you are in the world.
